Electrical Battery Group 65 In Stock Tray - Any Issues?

I'm looking at putting a group 65 battery in a 5.0 87-93 fox body that looks mostly stock but isn't.

Any hood clearance issues with this battery? (still keeping stock underhood felt cover thing in the car)

Any battery bracing adjustments needed?

Any battery case shaving required?

Any battery tray shaving/adjustments needed?

Before I go drop a bunch on a 65 AGM battery I'd like to know what I'm getting into.

Should pop right in, mine did on both of my mustangs

The only problem I recall having was a clearance problem between the brass 3 core radiator overflow tube and the battery ground terminal. The battery and radiator were both larger than stock OEM equipment. I cut some off the radiator overflow tube and it wasn't perfect, but it was OK.

I've been running that larger battery since I've owned my vert. (28 years). Never had an issue whatsoever.
