I was driving all around yesterday and my battery light was on. Got out of the car for like 5 min came back to start it and it would not start. Jumped it and it ran for like 3 min, RPM guage dropped to 0 but car was still running then after about 5 seconds of the RPM gauge dropping to 0 car would stall, but it was like it was choking or somehting it like sputered out not just plain stalled out any suggegestions.

Your alternator is bad so your car was just running on only battery power. Your car was stalling out and acting strange because it was not getting the necessary volts to run the vehicle.

wow...if you read your owner's manual it tells you what specific lights are for...
yes like the other guy posted...your alternator is bad, or one of the connections has come loose.
