battery question in trunk

if your battery is in the trunk..and the trunk key isnt working
and you get a dead battery...can you jump the battery from
the starter solenoid by using the battery post of the solenoid
and the body as ground..dont laugh to loud guys

you can jump start the engine, if thats what you mean, and if you leave the charging source on long enough, i guess it would charge the battery. we had a dead battery on a work truck once, no cables, only one set of welding leads. pulled another truck bumper to bumper, used two sets of vice grips as clamps using one welding lead as a jumper, man, that dodge never turned so fast!

YES.. you can. Jump, charge, etc as if it were under the hood.

thanks..wasnt to sure if somehing in the solenoid would fry if i tried a jump from there
