Battleboxes?!

I have heard a few people talk of these, and well i need them. My torque boxes are cracked and torn to shreads and need to come completely out. My chassis/race shop hasnt done too many 5.0's but they have done one with the battleboxes and said it worked nicely. Anyone else had to have this done and if so what did you use and where was it from? The car is in the shop now so I need to come up with something quick. Thanks guys.

I got mine from Rick91Gt. They're not a replacement for the stock torque boxes but are reenforcements for them. If yours are are destroyed, you'll need to come up with something to replace the stock pieces then reenforce them with "battle boxes".

I heard these battlebox things are entire new boxes that get welded into the side of the frame in place of the old ones. Apparently some place in jersey makes them, just wondering if anyone else knew...

I hear Ricks reinforcements are pretty nice- mad of stainless....I'm going to get some eventually.

I put some of Ricks Torque Box supports in my car last month. Very nice Stainless Steel pieces. Go to his web site and give him a call. I think he can hook you up with the torque box replacement and the battle box's.

Rick91GT. He's a good guy. Rushed the torque box supports to me when I needed them ASAP.
