I want to put a bbk cold air intake on my 02 GT but I want to know really how much more HP can I expect and Will it make the exaust note any more aggressive (I have stock Exuast).

your going to get 8-12 hp. And it wont make your exhaust louder, but, it will make your intake louder. I recommend it, i have it on my 98 GT, love it way better than the mac ram air.

The biggest benefit from it is that it looks good under your hood. like evryone has said, not much power gain.

Agreed. Not much of a hp maker, but one thing it will help with,is help the air move smoother. If anything, stick with plastic/pvc type cai's,they don't trap the heat,or get heat soaked like the metal/cast type cai's.The only real benifit from the shiny ones,is the visuals.

yank off the resonator, drop in a K&N, and buy an aftermarket plastic inlet between the MAF and TB. Still sounds good and gives you SOP gains.

i did the dynos 2 days apart

the before was 231.9hp and 272.5tq

the after was 247.6hp and 283.2tq

the before and after shows a 15hp increase but at 5k i had a 18tq/17.2hp increase and again at 5200iw was still in the 17's with 17.8tq/17.7hp...

i wish i woulda dynod it with the intake then installed the t/b and plenum but oh well, 17 was a good number from those parts i guess
