bbk fuel pressure gauge wont read pressure?

Has anyone installed a bbk fuel pressure gauge on a stock fuel rail?? I tried installing it so i can put a bbk afpr on but i can't get the stinkin gauge to read anything!! This should be a simple install right?? Does the schraeder valve have to come out for the gauge to work? I'm kinda gettin frustrated with this stupid thing!! Any help is appreciated

to install most fuel pressure gauges you do have to remove the schrader valve as the schrader valve has a stem in it to keep the fuel from entering the gauge.

Yes, remove the inside of the schrader valve.
