It should work, if the pro-chamber was made for longtubes to begin with, if it was made for shorty headers then no that's just common sense. I think the air tube is in a different place. If it even has one mine doesn't. Besides mac is bbk why wouldn't it fit.

I tried using a BBK O/R x w/ mac LT's and It wouldn't work, the BBK LT's are apparently slightly longer than the macs so my x pipe ended up being too short. You can get it to fit at any good muffler shop (it's not a major job) but I really doubt it's going to bolt in. At least it didn't w/ my experiences mixing brands...

yea i found out it wont fit because the offsets on the MAC and BBK longtubes are different. it would have to be hacked and welded which really isnt anything i want to have on my car so its in the classifieds now if anyone wants it!!!!

take care,

I've never had that problem.

Besides you said it was off a 96-98 mustang maybe that's why it didn't work

YA, I took mine to work, put it up on the lift and cut and welded. After spending 230 dollars on it when I had my shorties, I wasn't about to just let it go. IT bolts right up to my bbk long tubes now

Yeah, my produmps fit right on my bbk h-pipe just like my flowmaster's did. And when i got my prochamber it fits exactly like my h-pipe did. And yes i have bbk longtubes.

And who cares if you gotta cut an weld something on the exhaust. Don't ever buy a dr. gas x-pipe cause that's exactly what you gotta do to get it to fit right.

i would assume the produmps fit because all systems after the h-pipe are the same. but i didnt know the prochamber would fit the BBK headers. thats odd that some people say it will not work at all unless i completely hack it up and others say it fits fine. i know the one i have is for a 96098 and not a foxbody but still. it cant be that much off. again, the 96-98 mustangs still share the same exhaust setup after the h-pipe so the outlets of the prochamber will be the same.... kinda makes me wanna try to fit it (but my car is in storage) so if i dont get soemone that wants to buy it ill just save it for spring when i can put it on. money talks though, haha.

take care,
adam

I've never heard of anyone having to hack their prochamber up to get it to fit. Maybe some like me are lucky i dunno but you'd think mac would put a disclaimer on their page that says they won't fit bbk headers i don't see anything.
