I have a 2000 mustang GT with a pypes offroad h-pipe. I want to get longtubes but pype's does not sell longtubes on AM or LMR. I did some research to see if my midpipe will fit longubes such as bbk or mac since my midpipe bolts on to the stock manifold; however, they say that you need a shorty bbk midpie to fit the bbk longtubes and the same situation for mac. I really do not want to get rid of my midpipe since i bought it for a good deal. Anyone know a way I can install longtubes with a guaranteed fitment?

I cant answer for the Pypes or really help to much there. But many years back I did something similar on my 90 IROC. Put LT's on it but couldnt find any mid section that would fit with the LT's. Since the exhaust before the LT's were complete custom built at a local shop, I just went and had them modify the exhaust to fit the LT's. They just had to shorten up the mid pipe and weld flanges.
Dont remember the cost but it was fairly cheap, less than a $100 but that was also 20yrs ago.
