I have been thinking about changing my headers from stock to the bbk shorty headers at rpm outlets.
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gtmachdr.htm
IN addition to this i want to install the Pypes X pipe also from rpm planets.
http://www.rpmoutlet.com/05gtpipex.htm.
My two main question are: does anyone have this combo and how does it sound? My second question is why is the pypes x pipe so cheap compared to other x pipes that don't have cats on them? Thanks

I don't know what's going on with my pypes x-pipe. But, the BBK headers are cool... I went with the JBA shorty's.... my buddy has the BBK's and he seems to like them.

I appreciate the info. I got one more question. I am planning on my exhaust system having a 2.5 in. diameter pipe width. How do i tell if that will fit on those bbk headers?

search headers. shorties are a waste of $$$$. get long tubes for any real gain.

If you buy the BBK headers and the pypes x-pipe? Yes they fit togeather. Just make sure that the headers are "stock replacement length" and eveything should fit. If you buy long tube headers or mid-length headers they have "special" x-pipes of the correct lenght to fit.

Don't be afraid to ask questions when ordering the parts to make sure everything fits.

Yeah i am eventually going to end up buying some LTs, but right now I'm a 20 year old college kid on a major budget. Thats why the bbks and that pypes x pipe caught my attention.
