bbk t body whistleing: any way to stop it

my new bbk 70 mm tbody whilstles like a mofo and i have heard that bbk tbodies are known for this. my question is does anyone have a way to stop this, or iam i gonna have to learn to live with it ?

As far as I know there is no way to really stop it. Buy a supercharger that will drown it out?

There definitlely is a way to stop it, though I'm not sure what it is anymore. Mine whistles like mad too. I know there was a post about it a long time ago, but I'm on MF too, so I don't know which site it was.

i have a bbk throttle body, and it doesnt whistle! I found that with the iac disconnected, it whistled no matter where i set the idle. However, with the iac connected, i was able to adjust the idle a little higher, and it stopped whistling.

Is your breather tube of the oil fill cap connected or just left open, If its open it will whistle, other wise adjust your idle slightly and it usually cures the whistle

i always thought the TB whistle was cool.
I rode in a stang with a big whistle and i liked it, could hear all the air coming in and screeching. makes it sound like the engine is breathing good. and gets attention.

i dunno i drove that car for a long time today after my dyno tune and it kinda grew on me. it doesnt constantly whistle just when i first tip into the throttle. hey it aint costing me hp so ill just leave it
