Well, I got them in, FINALLY. Thanks to the help and tips many of you gave me they are finally done. Took us about 12 hours total.... This includes breaks, hardware store trips (5) and setup and cleanup as well. That is an insanely rediculous amount of time for a header install, i know, but it was our first header job. These headers are a PITA to install, many hidden bolts that require u to try and work blind. Thankfully we had a girl with hands and arms that are about half the size of mine to squeeze into the crazy cracks and bend, without that, i dont think we could have finished. We were working on 2 jack stands, with a floor jack and a good amount of tools. We also had a very small and thin rachetting wrench that was absolutely necessary to get several of the impossible bolts tight. Well, on our first bolt, that wrench got snagged and broke the rachetting part.
Honestly, If you don't have access to a lift, dont get into this project unless you have done headers before. If anyone has any questions about them or the install, shoot me a PM anytime, there are several little tricks to getting some bolts off that would have saved me hours. I plan on having the car dynoed after the cams go in and will post the numbers as soon as i get them. Sorry for the rant, but I know there are alot of questions about these headers.
