Do I need the bearing kit for when I install my new gears? I only have around 3300 miles on my mustang, but people tell me to get it and I dont htink I need it. I also am getting the Diablosport Predator to recalibrate the speedo for the 4.10 gears I am getting. What settings do you guys with the Predator think is the best? Thanks in advance for any help.

You still need an install kit though (just the really cheap one) for the crush sleeve and maybe some shims.

You just dont have to go all out for the whole bearing replacement thing.

i would suggest it for 33,000 miles. Though i am new to the V8 world. but i have 58,000 and my rear end has developed a whine caused by the bearing i am told. for for the little bit of extra cash i am guessing it will save you down the line so it doesn't need to be done again.

i can't wait till i can afford some 3.73's the whine is very annoying if the radio isn't up loud

the bearing kit is only like 80-90 bucks from motive. IMO its cheap insurance, especially if you got sounds coming from there anyway. just do it to be safe.
