Hasn't been to the track in 4 years. 3 blocks since I pulled the stock engine.... The 50 mile trip to the track was the break in miles. lol

She ran a best of 12.11 @ 114. Supercharger is choked a bit as she drops power at 6,000 rpm. Lifters are the only thing original and they are done. I can't seem to keep rockers adjusted this time. Really wanted 11s on its first trip, but she just isn't running quite right.

So let the questions fly. lol

More pics here in a second.

Hey jinx. Been a long time. Good to see you still have the car. Has it been this much of a ghost town lately?

Yup I still got it. Still in pieces though. Got the parents talked into buying the 96 because I was going through withdraw, was supposed to make payments to them (made like one lol). Then I bought a house and now having a kid in Nov so I don't see it getting worked on anytime soon.

I don't get on here often anymore but when i do it seems that way. Not much new stuff at all. Just got on last night to look for a DIY for replacing the intake manifold gaskets on the 96. She is running like . Hope that fixes it.

Hey Prokiller. You have any track times yet? I'm really expecting mid 11s once I get the stupid lifters straightened out. I've got a power pipe to install too. It will really need a tune as well. I'm hoping a local Dyno will cut me a deal since they don't have an actual chip burner and I do. damn spoiled guys and their handheld tuners. lol

Still love the color Jinx. Now get back to work!

I think most of the older crew are still here, just lurking. Not a lot of projects going on, I think the economy has kept most of us holding on to our money rather than feeding our Mustang mistresses. The most I've done lately is change the O2 sensors on my GT.

And welcome back, Paul. I may lurk more often than not, but I do visit daily and it's good to see you guys still coming around.

I had to park the car for a while. Couldn't stand to look at it really. Just to frustrating with all the BS it caused. Money is the tightest it's ever been too. So that's no good. The picture above with the lift is actually my shop behind the house. Lots of projects, but no time or money. I do quite a few brake jobs, shocks, struts, oil changes, ect. A few rear main seals too. Learning how to weld. Looks like I'm going to learn how to rebuild a 4r70w for my 4x4 too. Anyone know of any DVDs or books on them? Broke = do it yourself and hope it works.

Good to hear from you too Matt.

i took it last year finally but wasn't able to break into the 11s. i had two runs at 12.11 before the rad cap popped spilling coolant onto my blower belt causing it to slip. the last one would have been a high 11.

Gotta fix it on the cheap. Parts are here, now I just need to find the time. Tough when you watch your almost 2 year old when your wife works evenings and weekends.

I was wondering what ever happened to you. I was searching for something the other day and came across a post you had made. I wonder whatever happened to a bunch of the other guys that used to come around like xr8d302, Caldwell, bimmertech, Slow5.0, OrangeMustangGt, rudeone707, 1105, nmcgrawj, S/CBlack95GT, and who could forget the old resident weekly car changer, super302. Those are just a bunch that I can think of off the top of my head, I know there's far more that have left.

Must have been some great words of wisdom in that old thread you searched for. Then there were my dumb replies in it. lol

It's crazy to think about, but I've had my 94 for 12 years now I guess. Wow.

i forgot about some of those people. 1105, wow i remember back when i had my red 94 i wanted to copy his stripes sooo bad. orangemustanggt i think changed his name then sold the car after he couldn't stand the problems with his turbo setup. caldwell sold his ages ago and was trying to break into a movie career.

i really want to know what happened to OinkAodeOink. that guy just up and disappeared. he was building his own turbo business but the website has been shut down for a while now and i can't find anything for years from him.
