Haven't logged in for a bit.

All my "how to" post have pictures hosted by photobucket.
Haven't decided if i want to pay to upgrade or not.

I don't like the idea of that

Oh this ought to be a fun topic to bring up.

@Noobz347 , do you have a photobucket opinion?

Heck no, the whole point is that it was free. I'll lose my old pics before I pay for that slow AF site.

The photos will not be lost, we just lose the ability of third party hosting.

I can download the photos and edit all my posts, but that would be a major undertaking.

I am slowly moving all the pictures that I would post on Stangnet to Stangnet. That's probably most of what's on Photobucket. Last time I was there, the commercials obscured what I was trying to look at that it made me more determined to find an alternative. It looks like Google will be the next place I try for photo hosting anything but Mustang pictures.

Photobucket is where digital photos go to die... After becoming the sole property of photobucket because you agreed to their terms of use, ya damned noob.

I'm not paying to host there. Everytime I login, it takes forever to navigate around.

Bye bye photobucket.

I do use pix8.net a tad. Easy to exceed the free bandwidth though

Any images on StangNet from the past that were still live a few years ago and any posted since are saved locally to StangNet, so we did not lose out during the big PB fubar. We wanted to make sure our threads never die.
