Been a While, Just Checking in

Been a while since i have posted (ages i would say) they blocked forum sites at work so finding the time at home these days is more trouble than i have time for Anyway, thought i would drop in and see what is up.

Been pretty busy with the monroe handler conversion lately. Need to update the pics on my site but so far have the new MSD box in and redid all of the engine bay wiring. Installed sub-frame connectors (courtesy of Stumpy, must say these are tremendous pieces) and custom built my own exhaust system. Currently working on door alignment to get the front end where it should all match up before i finish the fiberglassing of the pieces for better fit. Then that leaves the fun rear work.

Projects down the line, all red taillight conversion and grill work where i will remove the turn signals and move them down into the new front end.

1978 Mustang II Monroe Handler Conversion

Yeah, i know - time = forever. I have been taking it slow and ensuring everything is done right the first time. Also in the military with 2 kids so money has always been an issue. Not to mention the fiberglass panels are requiring a lot of work and ingenuity to do correctly. Mating the side panels to metal has been one of my long standing dilemnas on how to do correctly without having it crack down the line. Also factor in that EVERYTHING except the transmission has been done by me alone with zero help and it takes a while heheh.

Not to mention the car has been "done" 3 or 4 times now. 2 Different Engines, 2 Different Bodies and then the Monroe handler which led to everything being redone

Considering a reverse cowl fiberglass hood, keeping the red stripes or just going to a straight blacked out not sure yet.
