Hey all, my name's Dave and I live in the Seattle area. I'm on a couple other Mustang forums also so I may know a few of you! I have an 89 LX 5.0 that I bought in need of some TLC a couple years ago. I've had some body work/paint done from some damage it had, added new wheels/tires (17x8F/17x9R staggered chrome deep dish Cobra R replicas) with 235/40 - 275/40 Toyos), new Flowmaster American Thunder SS cat-back, Boss Inc 3.25" cowl hood, clear headlights, MAC CAI, lowered it more than it was already lowered, switched out the stock rear license light bulbs for bright white LED bulbs, replaced the stock shift knob with a leather/brushed aluminum unit from FRPP and have done a bunch of little detail stuff. The vehicle had a ton of suspension work done before I bought it (by 3rd owner who owned it for 10 years - he also told me that the original owner was Linda Evans...said the 2nd owner showed him pics of them and her with the car when they bought it directly from her). Some stuff that was already done includes: 16" Cobra replicas, subframe connectors, BBK lower control arms, lowering springs, adjustable front shocks, caster camber plates, strut tower brace, 3.73 gears, bigger front calipers and slotted rotors, and I'm sure there's stuff I'm forgetting. I have a ton of future plans for it including new paint (stock color), restore the interior but upgrading to Corbeau GTS seats and doing front & rear seats in leather (yeah, keeping the porno red interior), Tremec 6 speed, and I'm thinkin a 306 or 331 with a KB. So far with the mild mods, the best I've run was 14.6 @ 97. Sorry for the looooong post, but figured I'd lay it out haha. Oh by the way, car is gonna be in the April issue of MM&FF in the Readers Rides section...I'm stoked! Maybe someday when it's done I can get a feature spot (hey I can dream!) Here's a couple before and current pics of the car...

The day I bought it:

Thanks for lookin!
