Anyone know what I can get a bellhousing from to put a T5 behind a 2.3L? Would a 3.8 RWD car have the same bellhousing? There are a lot of thunderbirds for sale fairly cheap with the sixes and 5 speeds. I just need a bellhousing that will bolt the two together.

One other question. Does anyone know what thread is on the tube connector on the ranger headers. This isn't the one for the O2 sesor but the other one (male). I want to plug it, but may want to use it later.

TIA, Neil

Only the bell from another T5 2.3 will work.

Watch out for 87-88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupes. They have a unique hydraulic clutch arrangement.

If you're planning major performance upgrades, there's a couple of outfits that make adapters for Windsor bellhousings to bolt to a 2.3 but you'll also need a special flywheel that is basically a 5.0 flywheel with 2.3 crank hub pattern. Expensive if you're gonna stay stock
