Use a flexable tape measure like the ones used by a seamstress and see if it will work.

you can run a short belt, as long as you are not using underdrive pulleys. I have the belt run on my stroker that I just dropped in my 94 GT.The belt spins the alternator and water pump pulley. I don't have any p/s in my car so it works just fine. I used a gates belt, and I will post the belt number later on when I go into my garage. But to answer your question"yes", it can be done.

94-95 GT drag strip belt

The belt you want to use is a Gates model belt: part # K060465

The belt measurement is 21mmx1195mm o.c.

when you run the belt, just run it from your crank pulley, to the alternator pulley, and you want your tensioner to ride underneath the belt. It will give you proper tension, and also spin your water pump in the proper"reverse" direction. There you have it, about 10-15 free ponies for about $18.00:cost of the belt.
