Stripped front license plate holes

Anyone else dealt with stripped front license plate holes ? #14 screws were already used. Think only option at this point is to open it up enough so can install those modern plastic inserts.

The bracket installs underneath the bumper cover.
The license plate then locks into the bracket. It can be removed in 2 seconds with no tools by pulling a pin out.

Oh boy!

I been inactively looking for something for my Gen 2 V. I have the one that screws into the tow adaptor port on the front and am [not] a fan. I hope this will be a lot better.
