belt problems

i put a smaller pulley on then had my car dyno tuned and now my belt pops off or shreads in a matter of a day the belt is on tight i dont now whats wrong with it the pulley is the same thickness?????? any help is much appreciated

check the tensioner.....

Have you considered a smaller belt?

belt and tensioner r both still tight

It could be that the side of the belt is rubbing on something. Check the side side of belt next time and look for black marks where the belt could be rubbing against the engine or anything like that. Ive heard of that happening before

mine squeek sometimes but i dont know if it would be the underdrive pullies or something else but i figured it was them cuz after i installed them i heard the squeek. they have been on there for a while, ive changed the belt and it wuold go away for a little bit but eventually come abck, its an annoying sound and i think the belt dressin would clear it up but i havent tried? any suggestions?

Does yours have a support bracket over the tensioner? If so make sure it is not bent. If bent it will not hold tension.
