The FRPP A/C delete is the one that relocated the PS up near the top of the engine? That is the factory routing for a Non-A/C car is it not?

Our '87 T-top came with that setup from the factory, so I think you should just beable to look up a 87 5.0L w/o A/C and get the correct belt length...?

I believe so but I just wanted to make sure, and see what other guys are running. Like I said I don't really have any time this week for trial and error, so I was hoping to get it in one order from NAPA.

He's right.I just asked for a belt for an A/C delete car,and it fit perfectly. If you don't need it now,you can have mine after Friday for free.I'm getting a shorter belt to delete the smog equipment. This belt is a GoodYear Gatorback with about 400 miles on it.

thanks for the thought vinnietbird, but I need mine today seeing as my stang is sitting here useless in the driveway. I'm anxious to see if the throttle response is any snappier, Ive been told the a/c delete helps that a good bit.

I think mine turned out to be a 77.0 in. . I now know this after purchasing and ordering 7, thats right 7 god #&!* belts throughout the day and still having one on there that's slightly too big (77.5). The use-the-factory-size-for-non-a/c-5.0 idea wasnt right at all either, it said it was a 85 inch belt (way too big), so Im assuming that given size is for non a/c 5.0s with additional dummy pully in the a/c's place, not the plain delete kit. damnit.....

at least my new 160 thermostat works awesome.....My temp gauge wont even dare go up into the shaded "normal" area.

That sounds about right for a car w/ the FRPP A/C delete, bypassed smog, and a 3G alt. I have a 74.4" belt that is just a tad on the loose side.
