well the part where you stick something in the belt tensioner to turn it has stripped out. Is there any other way to get off the belt so I can put my underdrive pullies on or am I going to have to get a new tensioner? Will a fox belt tensioner work?

You can get the belt off by cutting it. You will need a new belt anyways after the UD pulleys. But, you will need a new tensioner anyways so you might as well take it off and get it a new one.

all you have to do is grab the belt on each side of the idler pulley and push down. with a little effort it will come right off. for the install do the same. I learned this when my belt would get kicked of in the rain do to a bent shaft on the air pump.

(the idler pulley by the power steering pump)
