Last week the drivers ball joint broke on my car while I was pulling away from a light. I fixed the ball joint and now something is out of whack, I need to hold the wheel about half a turn to the left for the car to go straight. I took it to my local shop and they checked it out. They told me they measured it and that my control arm is bent about an inch and I would need a new one. He made it sound like this is pretty common and he had also said before that you can't adjsut camber on mustang. I just wanted to see what you guys thought of this. I want to sell my car and I don't want to drop a lot of money fixing this, how can I check for myself if the arm is bent? It didn't look bent when I was replacing he ball joint. Also too, is that true about the camber? I am debating taking it to an actual alignment shop and seeing what they say

one thing that you can do i measure the other one at one certain spot and then measure the bent one i had to replace the a arm on my mustang because mine had gotten bent so i just replaced it they are not that hard to replace and you can do the camber but i would not recomend that you do it yourself because you can do too much and wear the tire on one side i would take it to get it alligned sorry i could not help that much but maybe the other people could help better

You can alter the stock caster/camber settings, but only to a certain point before you need caster/camber plates.
