I recently put cobra brakes on my 88 and have a bad vibration/moaning in hard turns. I used Moser axles because I thought they would be good. Today I put an indicator on the rotor and found that it was .012" out! I checked the other rotor and it was fine. I took the rotor off and put the indicator on the axle. It was .006" out. I would think axles need to be within .001" so there is no vibrations like I am feeling. I need to know if .006" is acceptable or not? I checked the other axle and it is .002-.003" out. I will be road racing on the 9th so I need to get this fixed now! The only thing I can think of to do is buy Superior axles from summit and use those. I dont have time for moser to look at my axles and decide if there ok or not. Help! What should I do???
