Paint and Body Bent up rear glass trim

When I was removing the rear glass trim to prep my car for paint it got pretty bent up. Can I save this trim and how would you guys go about fixing it?

Very very carefully, if you have any wood or thin metal scraps that fit the channel use it as a backing. That is a pain to straighten without kinking them... Had some one step on a set I just took off to repaint total pita to get them straight again, hand tools pliers etc. Yours looks like you could do by hand just back it with something so your not stressing one point bending it.

You need to be very gentle with this trim..... It will bend by just looking at it..... Finesse it, do not "bull in the china closet" it......
