with that out of the way i dont think you should cam your car yet yes its cheaper than heads and stuff but you wint see the real gains out of it till the rest of your engine is oppened up .
im running performer rpm heads and matching intake with a stock cam and 1.7 rockers and am 12.50's and faster .
granted a cam would help and i might go that route soon the stock cam offers a ton of performance .
in my opinion mass air isnt worth it unless your going with a super charger or some crazy combo of parts ..

At WOT spray and heads don't really matter much. The computer doesn't use the SD A/f charts or the MAF calculations. It uses dedicated WOT settings.
You're real concern is part throttle driving. That's where and why you need the MAF conversion or tunable SD system.
