hi, i'm building a 87 mustang GT speed density (no mass air) stock short block E7 heads ported with bigger valves 1.94 intake and 1.55 exhaust, 10.3 cr , explorer intake, 2.5 complete catback, manual trans, 3.73 gear, 1.6 rockers...

What cam can i use? of the shelf...

Your best option is the stock cam with 1.7rr. That is a great combo you have there. You can get in the 12s with it. Be even better with ported gt-40s with bigger valves.

Thats almost the same combo Im running. I have a low lift Lunati cam

but i need to get an other cam because the stock one has one lobe gone because of one tappet bearing so i need a good aftermarket one...
87FOXSTANG wich one you have in it?

The colored cams on this page have been proven to work with speed density EXCEPT the very bottom 276HR cam.

yea, those cams may work...this is the one I run here. It really opens up at around 3000rpms
