SPEC Clutches kick rearend for sure! My next pick would be a McLeod Street Twin...but those are big bucks. Seems Centerforce isn't the prefered clutch anymore as it was in the 90's eh?
one might want the clutch to be the weak point in the driveline - if you run slicks and an on/off clutch (like the one mentioned), the trans could quickly become the weak link. just something to think about.

Best considering what? Grabbing and holding, strength, longevity, pedal feel? Depends on application. What do you do with your car? If its' a street only car a heavy clutch will be worthless. If your running slicks, something strong because your going to need it. Forget about "when all is said and done" because who know's when that will be. I run a spec III. I ran the stock clutch on my old T-5 and I used to powershift if all the time for over 2.5 years. Had no problems. Put on a Spec III and the T-5 started going down hill from there. Spec are my favorite clutches and they work really well as long as you break them in properly.
BTW: When installing the clutch, be sure to wipe any banana jizz off the friction materials or the parts won't seat correctly.
I don't care what anybody says, a t5's gonna shatter like a glass house behind the abuse of slicks and a 500 horse engine, ESPECIALLY if you use a hard slamming spec clutch. I'd like to suggest a tremec or gforce trans, and NOT a spec, something that's a little softer. I'd like to suggest mc leod, but I have no personal experience, nor a car with that kind of power, just do your homework properly on this, or you're gonna have a really large repair bill.
