I want the best combination of 2 very specific parts! this is for an AOD 1992 5.0 GT.


I want the best 1 5/8 LONGTUBE headers, combined with best 2.5" X-pipe with built in high-flow cats.


sorry for all the exhaust questions, please help though!

Pick up a magazine like Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords or 5.0 mustang and Super Fords. They do exhaust testing all the time. Do a little research before you post.

It's all about taste and money. Bassani and all is very nice, but pricy. I would say BBK is the best bang for the buck.

BBK is known for problems though. Make sure you pick up felpro gaskets if you head that direction.

I like my old skewl MAC long tubes. They came out before the steering shaft change, and don't intersect with it. I don't know about LT's and and AOD though, watch bell housing clearance. My Dr. Gas X-pipe is sweet, but I don't know about cats. You can fabricate a descent Xpipe if you have any welding skills.
