I sold my old 1993 5.0LX and im looking at getting a 99GT that was burnt - no engine and no tranny. Car is basically a shell.

Car is an automatic - I wanna make it a 5spd - what is best motor tranny combo that I should look for. Id like to have the car put down about 400hp, wont go to track - will be a show car / crusing car.

Any ideas on where I should start?

Man, for show and 400 HP, nothing fits the bill like the CAMMER! Of course, the $15K price is a bit hard to swallow.

OK, back to reality - how about Fox Lake Racing? ----> http://foxlakeracing.com/

A car that burned is not a good idea. The metal of the chasis and body will be weakened, warped, etc.

If it was a small fire that simply made the car too expensive for the owner to fix and it was stripped to a shell by parting it out, that's another story.

If the fire turned it into a shell, run away.

The Kb ideas are good bet be original if you are asking that then I suggest throwing a stroked 5.4, 2 valve in there and that outta make around 400 with a few bolt on's
Hell even if you only breach 350 you still have a unique combo
