Best Intake system for new GT

13.31 ... no offense but isnt that a little slow?? was there any traction issues???the only reason i ask this is because i just went to the track with my 20"s on with 40 lbs of air spinning throught first and part of second running a 13.46 @104 with only pypes o/r H and corsa mufflers....first time at a track.... and after i left the track i wanted some mods to add to the car..... intake and a tune are next on my list..... not to get off of topic

what happens if you buy the racer intake instead of the "street" and install it without any other mods??? will it affect/harm power or other components???

No traction issues, I was getting 2.02 on 60 ft times on the 18" wheels and BFG that the Roush came with. My 13.31 & 13.33 ET's was almost a second faster then the two 5-speed S197 GT's I ran that night. Track to track will always very from area to area depending on air and elevation. The Roush had ran a 13.86 best the only other time it had been to the track before mods.

The Racer kit would work fine as long as you have the Diablo/ C&L tune or have it tuned. FYI- I have a Diablo with the C&L tune for your car if your interested.
