I know that there's a thread going on body kits, but this would be what you think would look best, if you don't have it yet. My opinion on this matter would be a mean and intimidating look.

My setup would be as follows:

cobra bumper
cobra r or rr hood ???
svo side exhaust
rear aeroshield
s281 wing
2003 cobra wheels
clear headlights with black trim

if convertible:
tonneau cover
light bar
windguard

I'm trying to decide for a body kit. Currently this would be my set-up but I am very open to opinions. Thanx

For your front bumper - go to www.abcexclusive.com , grab the cobra front bumper with the lips spoiler attached to it. That should make your front end look a little more intimidating.

Hood - Cobra R, don't start getting all whacked out with RR's. You're not going to call your car a Cobra RR are you? Nuff said.

Exhaust - It's a nice look really, the side exit, but if you wanna give up the comfort of your hearing for a look that can be just as custom with some rear fibreglass work, you should buy a better sound system with the money you're gonna spend on....

That disappointing rear bumper you're looking at - DON'T DO IT. Go more custom, keep looking. Every time I've seen those rear bumpers I've nearly gotten sick to my stomach....they almost never seem to fit right. (If anyone in here has that rear bumper, I apologize, but it's my opinion)

Wing - Again, go with something less used. I'm a big fan of the boss rear wings I'm seeing lately. Check that out on abcexclusive too.

Wheels - Look at some FR 500 18 x 9's. They're not so common yet.

Headlights - Good choice. Smoked all the way, unless your car is white. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO ALTEZZA ON YOUR TAILLIGHTS.

I don't have a vert, so i can't help you on your last couple of suggestions, all I can say is visually draw YOUR vehicle in your head before buying anything, looking at pictures to decide is a big mistake, they're not going to make the car look ugly in their catalogues. And do engine mods......that's all

my car is red with a black top. thanx for your reply. i'm not a really big fan of that wing tho. the bumper does look killer with that lip added on. down here in south texas, you don't see a lot of 'fixed' up mustangs. there's plenty all over the place but almost all are stock, so whatever route i go with i'll be unique. i think i'll stick to the s281 wing to. the rims are also not to my liking, i still think that 18' 03 cobra's are bad ass. and don't worry, my taillights are staying stock, nothing like everyone knowing there's a five-o under my hood. and about the rear bumper, will do, i just thought it would look alright, but i have yet to see a stang with that aeroshield. you really think the rr is overkill tho, have you seen Deespeed99's car. it looks awesome. once again i want to thank you for your reply and your opinions.

I have a black 'vert and I am getting ready to put on a Cobra R hood and Cobra front bumper. I haven't decided on whether to get clear or smoked headlights.

I really think these headlights would look awesome on black car or a car that has black on it like mine.

there's other ones that you can get that are a little less honda-ish. They're unique, for sure though.

I know everyone has their opinion and what not, but why does everything a little different look ricey . I don't get it I think that the term "ricey" is being tossed around like a prosti.

Sanja makes the best looking kit in my book, close though is the cobra r hood, saleen single wing, saleen or sanja sides, saleen rear valance. That is how I am going to finish mine. I already have the cobra r hood, saleen rear, saleen single stacker wing, sanja sides, just need the sanja front. Have the 4 lug 17 cobra r wheels, going to convert to 5 lug with baer and go with the 18" fr500's. Going with grabber blue, or M3 blue on the paint. Any input would be appreciated

FMS or "export" flares are getting very rare....I've had mine on since the complete repaint when I did the Cobra hood/bumper and S281 wing...

looks nice. I wish that there was a bumper that would sort of fade the flare. kind of stands out in the rear.
