Best lowering springs for street

I want to lower my Mustang but I'm a little confused on what are the best springs on looks and ride quality. What are some of you guys using or what do you recomend? Wheel and tire setup are 245/50/16 on Cobra R wheels and it's a daily driver.

Hey man, i was going get theeibach sportline but ened up getting the prokit and love it! it doesnt really affect the ride quality but the stance it SICK!

I just got the Kenne Brown springs. Lowered my terminator 1.5" and ride quality was uneffected.

Ford "B" Springs.

They are made by Eibach but are much cheaper. $139.99 @ Jegs.com

Funny you mention those, I just got the new Jegs catalog today and was leaning towards "B" springs. What was the ride feel with the B springs?

I currently have 4 banger springs in the rear, and it seems that switching from the original V8 springs made no height change. Would removing the spring isolator make much difference?

i have b springs and love them. i went ahead and bought new kyb shocks and struts and the ride quality was actually better

I have the fms "C" springs... the front's good but the back sits high as stock imo.... which pissed me off alot... sits like a dragster or sometin

I have tried both the "B" and "C" springs and prefered the "B"'s better due to the progressive rate.
I wouldn't remove the isolators myself. It won't make a whole lot of difference.

I would suggest weight jacker control arms if you want to adjust the height.

same with my B's. I took out the rear isolators and all is good now. Do a search. There are a few threads with pics about the issue

i would vote pro kit. Low, but not too low and the ride isn't really affected in my opinion.

yea its really not but handling is a bit better. I will post pics in a couple days when i get my headlights! The stance is just perfect in my opinion!

If you want nice ride quality, God forbid you should get the Sportlines. I've got 'em on my '89: they are low and handle great, but are quite stiff.

Eibach Pro Kit...hands down. They're worth every penny IMO. I would've gone with the Sportlines but they would've dropped the car too far and my headers would drag.

This past summer i installed h&r sports with bilsteins on my 90 gt. The ride quality is great but I wasn't overly joyed with the height. The springs lowered the rear more than i had hoped. I ended up buying a set of rear adjustable lower control arms to rais the back to where i want it. I have pictures of the ride height prior to control arm instal if you care to see how the h&r's sit.
