Best place to buy VT Engines Cams

Ive decided to go with the VT Engines Stage 1 N/A Cams. So far the best price Ive found them for is $569 with free shipping from modulardepot. Does anyone know where I can find them cheaper? Im also planning on doing the install myself so if anyone can give me any tips or a write up of the install that would be great.

I have been looking for the VT cams also and modulardepot is the best I have found also.
Also bill putnam has a write up on installing them yourself on modulardepot's forum page its pretty detailed.

Try T&J Performance. They had them on sale when I bought them I think they were $550 maybe less.

Thanks guys, I just found the write up on modulardepot. I can do the install without pulling the engine right? Also where can I find that tool (forgot the name) that pulls the cams out instead of pulling off the whole front cover?

On the T&J site they have Comp custom Billet cams and VT custom Billet cams, Im guessing the VT custom Billet cams are the same as the VT Stage 1 Cams?

KenB and ModularDepot.com are great to deal with and thats where I got my cams at. T&J was OK when I got my Steeda tune back in the day before I decided to get cams.

Here is one of my posts about doing the cams with the AFM tool. Note that you will also need the tool in the link in the following post to do the springs.

Haha, dont worry Ill have nitrous sometime. But I think Im going to wait until I go to college.

Im going to leave the stock springs in there with the stage 1 cams. Is that not a good idea?
