Best quality caliper paint?

The key is, just like any other mod, if they are not done right people will consider them ricey. For instance, a lot of the imports and a handful of other selected idiots tend to go a little overboard when they have their wheels off and are painting their calipers. They will not only do the calipers, but also the rotors/drums -- making a big BRIGHT YELLOW or BRIGHT NEON GREEN eyesore behind their wheels. That looks like ISH.
I painted my stock calipers GLOSS BLACK and edged the rusty parts of the rotor that do not touch the brake pad. Turned out nice, so once it comes time for me to get new brakepads, Ill just upgrade to the Bullitts with the 13in rotors.

My friend has an '01 bullitt and the paint on his factory calipers peeled off. We went to Ford and bought a bottle of touch-up paint for the calipers. It's just "Cardinal Red" high-temp paint. Paint flakes were just peeling off. The rears peeled more than the front but it's definitely paint.
Paint peeling from Bullitt calipers is actually pretty common.

Actually, my original question was a loaded one. I have already painted a pair of calipers using VHT red. I was just wondering if something better had come along.
I sandblasted these down to bare metal and then used 6 or 7 coats of VHT red before painting the COBRA wording by hand. If i could go back i would have sanded down the COBRA lettering and left the caliper 100% red. I don't think it looks half bad and when i get the Mach 1 calipers i plan on doing the same thing. I may try the Duplicolor kit now
These calipers were for my Fox which has Cobra disks all around.

One in a while i run into people on stangnet, corral or other Mustang boards recognizing my name from there. I guess it's just recognizable.

I used it on my last car. The paint will stand up to solvents, brake fluid, acidic wheel cleaner, and other misc stuff. The shine never wore off. You can usually fiond the stuff on Ebay for a good price. I think I paid $32 shipped for the stuff. Well worth the money.

I need a bigger E-Penis.
I have the dupli-colour kit. I've had my calipers painted for one year now (not winter driven either), and the paint is almost all peeled/chipped off. I followed all the directions, but the paint does not seem to stand up over time. I will be re-doing the calipers on Thursday. I'll sand, use brake cleaner on them, apply 3 coats, and then clear coat them (I never did last time, which I guess I should have taken the initiative to even though it doesn't say to). Which brings me to this question: Will all clearcoat paint hold up to extreme temps, or is there a high temp version I should buy? Thanks.
P.S. I'll also take some pics for this thread, that is ... if it is still alive.

Clear coat tends to yellow with heat.
Powdercoating is technically the best finish, but the coating acts as an insulator and keeps the heat inside the caliper. Not a good thing if you frequently get your brakes very hot.

So, do you think I should clear coat my calipers or not? I don't really want to have to re-paint my calipers every year, and I don't want to trap too much heat in by powdercoating them.
