best shifter?

QUOTE:
Nothing against the new MGW shifter (looks very promising), but how do some of you say it "blows the rest out of the water" and that it's "the BEST shifter on the market, period. Hands down" when you don't even own one?

Well for one, George fixed the problem all the aftermarkt shifters have in common.

Noise and handle placement.

Having owned MGW pieces, doubt that anything that comes from that company is junk.
MGW had to raise the bar in a market FULL of shifters.
So it has to some what better to even have a chance of selling.

Having a pro 5.0 and Steeda I am willing to give a MGW a shot.

True statement: any shifter is better then stock................

Wow......now those are some short shifts. The reach doesn't look bad either and you have the shorter (blue) arm on there. I had a tri-ax...sold it. I was gonna go with a Pro 5.0, but this is supposed to be the best...I'm getting one.

Like already stated a few times, any shifter that is aftermarket is better then that '"TOWER" that comes stock in our stangs. :nonono:
I went with the B&M ripper,and love it! :nice: Never missed a shift,and never grinds :D .
On a side not,i probably have one of the few 3650's that doesn't have a grinding issue :) .

I just installed a tri-ax yesterday and it is sooooo much better than stock. Like everyone else said, all the aftermarket shifters feel better than the stock one. The tri-ax has a very solid feel to it and a nice and close gear pattern.

I had a Pro 5.0 for 117k miles. I got the MGW shifter and love it. It's heads and tails above the Pro 5.0. I use the blue handle with my T-handle shift knob, and LOVE IT.

Oh, and there's no tranny noise being transmitted through the MGW shifter. My Pro 5.0 had to have rubber bushings put in to stop the noise....and then it felt soft.

MGW rules.
