I like my Dynomax Ultraflow Stainless mufflers. Quiet at idle (sounds good though), quiet at cruise, no drone, and screams when I get on it. I have LT headers, and a Dr. Gas offroad x, and that with the straight-through mufflers makes it sound higher pitched. Many people think I have a 4.6. I like the higher pitch though. A lot of people say x-pipes make a car sound raspy, but mine sounds smooth . Theres a kid in my town with an 99 GT that has headers, and offroad x, and a Magnaflow catback. Car sounds awesome . Seems notibly louder than mine though.

Another vote for the Magnaflows. Straight flow thru design and the have a great deep tone to them.

I ended up getting the bassani with dumps. It sounds bad ass. I love it. Way better than the 3 chamber flowmasters I had before.

Since im the only one with SLP Im gonna have to at least put it on the bored. But borla and bassani's sound badass. After I do my H/C/I in feb, ill have some longtube and x-pipe clips for people who wanna hear that combo with SLP.

EDIT: And all rules change when a lopy cam is involved. A good cam can make any exhaust sound good.

Im running bbk shorties bassani catted x and borla, sounds very tuned and raspy; only thing I can compare it to is a loud porsche exhaust. Accept with the ford low tone, 2000 - 4500 rpm drone.

I have a H-pipe with 1 chamber flowmasters made into a side exhaust. You guys think the flowmaster, o/r h-pipe, and tips are loud you, should hear my car. Damn thing scares the hell out of people when i'm cruisen next to them and i floor it. NO I'M NOT 16 EITHER I love the flowmasters, maybe one day when i'm 40 or something i'll grow out of them.

I have BBK Shortys and 2 chamber American Thunder flowmasters and I like it. Its got a nice sound at Idel and gets at its loudest by 2500 RPM's and is pretty quiet at 3000 RPM and obove. As much as people complain about flowmaster I like them and there the best sounding muffler to make some head turns when u drive by.

I must agree with the "quiet" Part. I have an X pipe AND the flows, and at 75-80MPH cruising, you can barely tell that the exhaust isnt stock. Does make it nice for longer trips!
