I'm trying to figure out what the best supercharger on the market is for a 2003 gt? I'm looking for some input. I'm just curious what everyone thinks.

thats a very broad and very debateable question.
if you were more specific as to your goals, budget, etc etc, people would be able to give you some recommendations. also, try using the search function to see a bunch of threads about superchagers.

Well I've heard a name that I can't remember and I'm trying to figure it out. I guess the number on this super charger speak for itself. The one I'm trying to think of put you at max boost at about 2000rpm's and hold all the way to redline give the best preformance possible.

Ohhh you would be talking about the Kenne Bell kit. Very nice I might add too. I love it. Be prepared to blow about $5,300 for the 9psi intercooled kit with all the options though. the 6 psi non-intercooled kit is about $1200 cheaper, but its up to you on what you want. Don't forget about the good old centrifugal blowers i.e. Vortech, Procharger, Paxton. These are all good blowers, it is all about your $$$ situation and what you want. My advise is to do your research and pick whats best for you. here's a link the the KB website. look under FAQ's and tech tips. There is a good write up about all types of blowers there.

LINK: Kenne Bell Twin Screw Superchargers

good luck!!

Is there a difference in the cost of install with any of the common super chargers?
And which chargers are easier to install yourself.. if any?

You can look at my numbers. That is on a stock block, 91 pump gas and only a borla cat back exhaust.

KB should be easier to install than a vortech..plus u don't have to drill a hole in the oil pan...
Turbochargers are really expensive to install since u need to run all those pipes

The kenne bell was what I was looking for. Yeah it cost $$$$, but there is a reason to spend the money on the best.

The only reason i dont really like the KB is the sound... IT fockin SCREAMS..
Too im not a big fan of the sound of the 03 cobra either..
KB - SCREAMs
03 Cobra - Whines
