Like the title says. I have a set of Turbines on my '76 Cobra II and would like to clean them up a little more and possibly paint them close to the original if they dont clean up good. Thanks in advance!
A good tool is a motorcycle wire wheel brush like so http://www.bikedepot.net/ezbrush.html
This may be thin enough to get inbetween the spokes. Since this will take time to go through all of them I would use a non acidic wheel cleaner. Citric based would do the trick...
i'd guess a degreaser like. simply green or that orange cleaner stuff. as long as it's non toxic and envir friendly cause i'd assume i'd be safe to use on wheels then. and just pressure washer that stuff off. if that doesn't work you cold always use a roommates toothbrush and put it back.
