Best way to install battery in hatch?????

Best way to install battery in hatch????? *POST CUTOFF SWITCH PICS PLS*

well, my heads will be coming back from the machine shop any day now. so i need to GET TO WORK. so much to do.

anyway
i need to install this battery kit to get this heavy new yellow top to the back

i was wondering... whats the best way to run battery cable to the hatch?
through the firewall? under the car?

anybody with experience with this find any neat little tricks and spots?

info on this would be great

First, inorder to have it track legal you will need an emergency shut off switch- usually mounted around the license plate somewhere.

I think they look sweet in the bottom reflector part on LX tails right by the plate.

id like a very nice/hard to spot location

I dont have pics, or the link to the site i went off of, but i mounted my switch behind the plate.

all you have to to, is mount spacers, or longer bolts to move the plate back about 2".

Its completely hidden from view, and all you have to do, it remove your plate at the track. Also makes for a nice anti-theft switch since you can reach it with the hatch open.

Ill get some pics up later tonight.

if theres a cut off switch will it make your ecu lose its mem. evry time u shut it off

yes it will, but i suppose you could wire it to the battery if you wanted to.

Easiest spot is right behind the plate. Tons of room to put it there. No pics, too tired to go out now.

The closer you place the fuse to the battery the better. Any shorts to ground before the battery will cause the battery to drain.

thats the one i used, sorry i couldnt get pics, but i refuse to look at that car right now.

(having some serious issues)
