All,

I am using this forum as a test bed for linking the other forums in a menu at the top of this forum.

You all should see links at the top of the page that show

CLASSIC TECH
CLASSIC CLASSIFIEDS

These are links back to those forums.

Those forums will have links to the other 2 as well.

Please give feedback regarding this change.

Thank you.

Yeah that will be so cool if it works.

Only thing is, I wonder why Mr. "I-Ditched-The-Classics-To-Become-The-'05-Forum-Mod" is using us as guinea pigs?

Relax, Ty; that was just a good-natured from me to you 'cause I'm feeling good and ornery this AM

Hey,

I was volunteered to be the 05 mod.

Now I am busy with rebuilding the site.

I am using this forum because it is still home and I saw someone mention that they wished the links were up there again.

They should be there now and it is a bit disturbing to have you guys keep saying "if they work".

They work for me. I will try a test of my own.

Peace, man. 'Twas truly just a joke!
Gosh, when did you suddenly become so serious. Even the great SuperDave shared humor with us

I did not know I was being so serious.

Sorry 'bout that if I came off that way.

I am just concentrating on what I am doing as it can have dire affects on the site if I make the wrong move.

Now I am looking at making links for EVERY other forum here and it hurts my little head.

So! You're the one who caused the collapse!

Once Upon A Time..... in the Great Land there was a tremendous Tower knownst to the peoples as The Stangnet Server. This tower was soooooooo huge that it's very tops extended up past the clouds into the ethernet! When one day, for very dark, mysterious and evil reasons, something caused the Great Tower of The Stangnet Server to come crashing down. So great was the Tower and so powerful was its fall that the entire Great Land shook and trembled. (close to a 9.5 on the scale of Richter) So terrible was the shaking and trembling that The Closet Door splintered, it's pieces coming of their hinges and The Gutter's contents arose in an enormous wave and flooded into The Closet flushing it's contents and occupants out upon the Great Land. In the aftermath, The Great Big Blue Fuzzy Closet Monster wandered lost and dazed looking for his La-Z-Boy, only to find olde tales known as "threads", that had once been kept beneath his chair, washed out upon the Great Land. Unfortunately only the more aged threads were sturdy enough to survive the cataclysm, many of the newer ones were destroyed and lost forever.........The End!...[/BBFCM Story-telling Mode]

The latest post and post counts don't work for me, they have little lines, but that's fine. I'm the one that asked that they be put back up and I think it's GREAT, you da man Tyler.

BTW, I'm in Darkmoon if that matters.

Because these are only links to the other forums, they will not display the last poster etc.

In order to display these things, I would have to create these as stand alone forums instead of links to the existing forums.

You win some, you lose some.

I feel the new layout is coming along nicely though.

Please see the post directly above yours...

At this point, it cannot be done.

I have one of two chices here.

Give you all the links to the other forums without the recent post information.

Or no links at all.

I chose links without the info.
