So does it work just like a regular auto? You dont have to shift 1-2-D do you you?

I have a cousin with a 2000 something base model Civic, with an automatic. He was bragging about the fact that the shifter kind of looked like a manual shifter, so when people walk by and glance in, they'll think it's a manual. I was like 'ok... if you just look at it you can tell it's an automatic, and who cares.' Then he wanted me to 'test drive' it. I was like.. no thanks, but he insisted. So I got to take off in the awesomeness that is the Civic.

Right, I was getting off track. Anyway. Yeah, what's the point of having it look like a manual shifter?

That's a nice looking shift handle. It's too bad it's Mustang specific, I would have thought about getting one for my Cat.

I love mine. Its awsome. I dont care if it looks like a manual, i love my Auto i wouldnt trade it for a 5-Speed anyday!! Nothin like a built Auto

And yes it does work like a regular shift, but you just ratchet to every gear. You have to pull back on the lever to get from Park to Reverse & Reverse to Neutal. All it really does is when manual shifting go from 1st to O/D and stuff like that. I oniestly wouldnt buy it unless you want it for looks or have a Street/Strip Valve Body so it can be put to use.

O YEH IT LOOKS A HECK OF A LOT BETTER THAN THE STOCK SHIFTER

I would have thought that would be a common part on our cars...maybe write MGW or UPR and tell them the huge market they are missing since you guys in the birds/cats are all auto's.
