Which is better for adjusting timming Steeda's Timing Adjuster or the power programming from a Superchips Max MicroTuner? I'm interested in more torque/power below 3000 RPM. I have both, but haven't installed the T/A yet and am considering selling it instead of installing it if the microtuner will give me the same thing. The microtuner was bought to compensate for the 4:10s when I get them installed. I'm thinking I'll use the microtuner for only the gears, forget their "power tuning" and just use the Steeda T/A for the timing. What do you think?

If you have the T/A I think you should use it. You can bump up the timing as high as you want until it pings then back off. You'd probably have to burn the chip a few times to find what your max timing setting is. You can also retard the timing if you get bad gas, etc. Can't do that with a chip.

Put it on at the same time as the UD pullies and you will notice a nice difference.

i think the max tuner is a flash tuner like the new diablo.
it flashes thru the service port........so you could actually make multiple changes in minutes.
i have a Steeda timing adjuster & a speedcal both ready to go on but i also am considering the new diablo tuner because you can also alter air/fuel ratio in addition to timing & gear change.
if anyone has experience with these please give option or fact.

get a chip, so much you can do with it, its a good investment. Not only advances timing but retards timing in areas need it (with a dyno tune).. you can set your car to whatever octane you want, turn off rear 02 sensors for aftermarket midpipe, perfect odometer with gears.
:OT:
got any pics of your wheels.. i have a silver 01 w/ the same wheels, and what tire sizes you using?
