I'm putting either 235/60R15 or 275/50R15 BFG Drag Radial's on my 87 GT w/Weld Draglites. Does anybody have pics of 235/60R15's on there Stang? (If so please post) Do they hook good? How do they look? I was thinking the 275/50's but I'm worried they are going to rub. Is this true? Where is the clearence problems? I really don't want to have to do any banging or notching on my wheel wells. Is 5.5 backspacing the best one to use?
Quad Shock's and Tailpipes are removed.
Any help would be great! Thanx!

I have 15x8 drag-lites with 5.5" of back spacing with 275/50/15 BFG drag radials on my 88 notch, and they fit great just have to remove the quad shocks the 235's are to skinny IMO go with the 275's you wont regret it.

I run the 275/60-15's and have no issues witha 15X8 rim and 5.5 BS. No quads of course. Given me a 1.68 60ft so far along with a 12.04 Not too bad for an almost stock motor. Well, they do call it factory stock.
I have a few pics on my website. Stangfireman

235/60-15's on 7" stock rims.
went 1.80's (1.79 once) with totally stock suspension/power/weight on a not so great track.
They will hook hard enough to bog the motor launching below 4500rpm... don't see any need for larger tires at stockish power level.

i have 295/50/15's installed and they rub a little bit. i had to pull the quad shocks off and use SSM lift bars. drives pretty good

i dont think 275's will rub as much as my 295's.
