i got an honest 2,000 miles out of my M/T drag radials, i ran nittos before that and probly got about 8,000 out of those... If i got stuck in the rain with the nittos, it was no big deal, i used the car as a DD with nitto drag radials(i also had them on my Lightning and got 20K from them), i love the nitto's that is a great all around tire. Buttt, the M/t's are stricktly a DRY WEATHER tire, i cant stress that enough... any kind of moisture on the ground and you are **** out of luck, its scary to say the least. And its just as scary trying to stop.
The bottom line about tire is that on a stick car, if you want to sidestep the clutch and go, get a full slick for the track and a street tire for every day, Drag Radials are really hard to get right unless you have an automatic, they will either bog or spin, there is a really fine line where they tires work UNLESS you have your suspension dialed.
but chances are if you cant get your 11 or 12 second car to hook on BFG's, then M/T's arent gonna do some magic trick... you cant knock the BFG's, they definitly work seeing as how guys are running 7's on them
