It's still a possibility, and I'm not putting it out officially yet, but I am working on getting an FIA style body, and it will be pre-molded in Burnt Orange!!!!

are you getting the flared fenders or the slab sided style? i'd love to see a slab sides one, i think they look much more like a "Proper" british sports car. also, are you getting the hardtop that you poste pics of a while back too? that would be even sweeter. a slab sided 289 cobra with the hardtop, simply amazing!!!!

Here's some pics of the body from the same molds I will get, but not the hard top.

Basically, it's a FFR body morphed into an FIA, so it will still fit the chassis. I will try to get it molded in a dark burnt orange.

As of this weekend, the repairs are done, the motor has a new rear crank sleeve & seal, time to clean the chassis, re-install the motor, and drive the chassis all over my neighborhood. It will be back on the road by Spring. What a project, but it's been a fun one! Don't fix your Mustangs this way!

awww man, i think you should get the hardtop!!!!!!

i like the 289 cars better than the 427 cars anyway, especially the slab sided ones. can't way to see it when you get it going again!

BTW, how did the heater work out for you?
