bigger cam ,wont run right

i bought an 88 already built with a pretty beefy cam and though it sounds good at idle and vaccum seems to be good it wont even do a burn out could this be the computer ? or the underdrive pulleys i myself put on it

What cam did you install and what's your combo? Was it degreed properly? Did you check for PTV clearance?

IS your '88 speed density or did you convert to Mass Air?

im not sure , i didnt build the motor , but has a 70mm bbk throttlbody, with stock plenum theres no mass air sensor though there is a plug for one, other than that i dont know really anything about it

Then there could be a lot potentially wrong. You sure it has a cam? Or is it just running with a lope that makes it seem like it has a cam?

No mass air sensor but it has a plug??

Can you post some pics of the engine and wiring and such?

sounds like its on speed density which wont work with a cam. pictures will certainly help
