what is the biggest slick that can fit on a 92 mustang without rubbing on the stock pony rim?

My bro just put on 26x10.5 Mickeys on his 87, fits fine.

Man, your mods are almost identical to mine except for the gear ratio. Cool stuff! I havn't gotten to run mine at the track yet, what kinda times you turning?

10.5 tire on 8 inch rim...biggest i'd go would be a 9 inch tire

Are those ET Streets or ET Drags, because it makes a difference. ET Streets are measured from sidewall to sidewall, ET Drags are measured by the tread surface. So a 26x10.5 ET Street is the same width as a 26x8 ET Drag.

you can get the the 10.5 on a 7 inch rim but its not to safe, u should at least have a 8 inch rim, i just bought a set of the et streets, they kick ass compared to that **** they call nittos RRR's

The 10.5" ET Street IS safe on a 7 inch wheel! The tread is 8"......thats about what a 245 street tire is.

They are the ET Streets, we measured them and they were like 9.25in.

But yeah.. I missed the part about the Pony wheels, they're right don't go 10.5 on that rim, lol. My brother has his on Draglites.
