Billet Fuel Door

Anybody have a problem with the Billet Fuel Door from Ford Racing rusting? Not the door itself, but the hex bolts.

nope I had a real Bullitt for over 1 year & I have a door on my Roush & have never seen any rust

Yes, that is a known problem. Some guys over on the Bullitt owners website have said that their bolts started rusting. I'm lucky so far, mine haven't rusted! You can do a search on www.imboc.com and I'm pretty sure some guys have some how-tos on how to fix them.

I had the same problem with mine. I just replaced the bolts with SS ones.

go to ebay and search for 04 mustang fuel door, you will see all kind of fuel doors with different finishes
