Bought a 99 Cobra last weekend. It has what appears to be a Pro Fit eletric linear billet fuel door. It worked fine once. Now I have an 1/8 of a tank left and the thing will not release. When I flip the switch it lights up as if it was released. Does anybody have any suggestions. I emailed Pro-fit but have not heard back from them yet. Soon as I get it open it will be removed for good. In my opinion it does not look good on a white Cobra. Also, pease let me know of a good place to find a stock fuel door with hardware.
Thanks,
Rob

try having someone pull on the door while your hitting the button. Is there some kind of release lever inside the trunk behind the panels? just a guess i'm not familiar with the company....And you can try painting the door to match your car. It looks good with the rivets etc painted body color.

I just bought one of those a few weeks ago and all I can say is damn its nice. I have a bullitt door on now and it doesn't compare to the quality of the Kooltang door. Plus the owner was great to deal with.
